Avocado Toast

Yes, I am going to be basic and make a post about avocado toast because I love it.

If you haven't heard of avocado toast, I don't know what rock you've been living under, because it is seriously all over the internet right now. And if you have yet to try it, you must! I do admit when I first started hearing about avocado toast craze I was a bit skeptical, how is some avocado on toast that amazing? To answer that, I honestly don't know it just is. You'll understand once you give it go.

So I wanted to share how I make my avocado toast, which it's super simple.

I am quite a traditionalist with my food, not to say I am a picky eater because I'm not. But, I just really appreciate simplistic food with quality ingredients. For the most part I'm not into super fancy complicated dishes. With that being said here is my delicious avocado toast!
Ingredients:
slice of bread
avocado
lemon
sea salt
crush red pepper flakes

1. Toast your bread.

2. Slice and scoop about half the avocado into the bowl and add a generous squeeze of lemon juice. Then mash the avocado and lemon juice around a bit, not too much though. I like my avocado to be a bit on the chunkier side.

3. Spread your avo mash all over the bread.

4. Top with a sprinkle of sea salt and a pinch of red pepper flakes.

5. Enjoy!
