Bonjour Paris!

School is officially over and I am home for the summer! I have actually been home for about a week and half now but that's besides the point.

In the week and a half that I have been home a lot has happened in my life, which I will share more later. But, I wanted to talk about something a little more cheerful for the moment.

I have updated y'all on what I did on my trip to London last summer:

What I have not shared yet is the day we spent in Paris. Paris is only a two hour train ride away from London, so while we were in London we took a quick day trip to Paris!

Breakfast in Paris.

Monet's Water Lilies

Nutella crepe

Jardin du Luxembourg

Picnic along the Seine.

La Tour Eiffel

Notre Dame Cathedral

Hope you enjoyed some pretty pictures from Paris! As Audrey Hepburn would say, "Paris is always a good idea!"

Thanks for reading!!

  1. I just discovered your blog- this is making me wish I was back in Paris! I just returned from a semester abroad in Ireland, and I took a quick trip to Paris that coincided with my birthday. I'm happy to be home, but I'll miss being able to find quick flights to a variety of amazing places!

A side note- I saw you mention you're from outside DC. I'm also a "DMV" native :)

    1. Aw! Thanks! I'm glad you liked this post! No better place to be for your birthday than Paris!
